I thought God was talking to Me

I am kind of embarrassed to share this story with you girls but what the hell!
The fires in our area has brought all sorts of wild animals looking for food in our cement jungle which lies just below the burnt up hills. The park right behind my backyard fence is now their hunting grounds. To see a torn up dead rabbit splattered all over the grassy areas in the park are now an every day happening. I am not scared though because I never saw the animals who are munching on the rabbits in the park when I go for a walk. So for me if they stay out of sight then that’s cool.
For the last couple of weeks everyone in the park has been talking about this scruffy mangy cat that has no fear of humans and comes right up to people and sniffs there dogs and turns around and casually slips back into the bushes in the park. Well the other day I ran into it. It is scruffy all right and it’s stripped gray & white thick fur was matted and filthy. This cat looked like it had gone through a war zone. So when it came up to me I didn’t dare pet it because it looked like it could be a carrier of the black plague or something. I talked to it and it sniffed me and my doggies and then it just fell in line behind us and started following me down the side walk. I wasn’t alarmed when the cat started following me and my fur babies because I was told by others in the park that this little gray stripped cat was friendly.
All of a sudden I hear this loud voice telling me to not move. I could not figure out where the voice was coming from. So my first thought maybe it was the voice of God? That is when I looked up and there was this police helicopter moving towards me. Then here comes an army of people walking slowly up to me. My first thought was that I did something wrong? There are so many rules and regulations in life now that it hard for me to keep up with all of them so I could of trip over one without know it... ha ha ha!
Huummm... I know I didn’t rob a bank unless I did and I just don’t remember doing it. I am at that age now that I don’t remember doing things that William tells me I do... so maybe I did. One thing for sure I wasn’t taking another step especially when I could not make out the equipment that this mob of people were pointing at me. My mind was racing trying to figure out what was going on. I just wanted this all to be over with sooner then later. But the way these guys were moving cautiously slowly towards me I knew I was going to be in this park for a while. Errr... I remember thinking come on people get this over with arrest me so I can post bail and get back home before William comes home for dinner. To speed things up I just stood there like a dummy. Then the weirdest thing happened they all walked right past me with their nets, poles, guns. Now was my chance to make a run for it... naaa... second thought I better not. But I did turn around just in time to see them nab the bad guys... Come to find out that friendly mangy gray stripped weird looking scabby dirty bobbed tail kitty cat I made friends with was a bob cat? I didn’t know!!! Ha ha ha! It just looked like a cat that was down on it’s luck to me.
I guess the rest of the family of bob cats that this little young one belong to was still hiding in bushes so they got them all. Poor things... The older bob cats have been chowing down on not only the rabbits in the park but little dogs and cats to. The animal control officers told me they wouldn’t kill the bob cats they just take them to the mountains and let them go. That’s nice... it is not their fault that the fires burned up their living areas in the hills.... it’s our fault! Errr...
Would you know a bob cat if you saw one? Okay how about if one was just a little baby and when you saw it it was just having fun rolling all over the sidewalk and didn’t move when you walked by it.... would you think it was a wild animal when it was friendly? Come on how many of you would of played with the little kitty like I did if it was friendly?
Ha ha ha!
