TY for asking! I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday. He's home. No bacteria grew on the culture. :) He's feeling well now.
DH, OTOH, started bleeding and passing blood clots into his catheter yesterday. He has an appt. with a urologist tomorrow. They are going to flush (fill with solution and wait for it to empty) his bladder tomorrow and make a decision from there.
I seem to remember having one good week, one week when I wasn't feeling so stressed. I THINK that was this year. LOL
Yes, the last five weeks or so have been just a tad stressful. ;) The good news for me is that, through the help of my new counselor, I am handling this much better than I would have a year ago. :)
They flushed his bladder. He passed a few more clots. They were able to remove his catheter. WHEW and YEAH! LOL Now, it's a matter of training his Kegel muscle. I have been getting a LOT of thank you's, your a good wife, etc. from him in the last few days. It's nice to have him recognize and acknowledge what I've put up with. :) We are going to begin getting things back to our new normal now.
