Moving the daycare up the house was not a good move. The kids are not happy, Mac and Janet are not happy having so much noise for so long while they are napping or tv watching...actually Janet complains the most. It really has been difficult on everyone. Janet has been diagnosed OCD and her's concerns organization. The clutter kids make drives her nuts! In a way its good because she's always concerned if they have enought diapers, cream, wipes where I'm more concerned with their art, learning and games. My motto is...if the house is a mess and we learned making the mess who cares? When the kids go home what they don't straighten up do it and go on. No biggie, its kids being kids. My one daycare mom wants to put her 5 year old with me this summer but only if I get a different helper. She's already told me if I take a day off and Janet's in charge she will not send her son. Oh well, time will tell.

HI Bernie

Sounds like this Mom really doesn't care for Janet at all. Do you know how long before you can move back to your daycare house that was hit by the car.

Good luck my friend seems like it might be time to let Janet go.

Mare, my contractor is set to begin repairs two weeks from yesterday due to pervious contracts. Actually Mac and JT are coming around and enjoy spending time with the kids. Of course Mac's favorite is Allie since he's known her the longest but Noah's eyes have captured him as well. The kids LOVE him!

As far as Janet goes she admittedly calls herself trailor trash. Duh, could have fooled me:) And admitted she thinks we have money. We don't but I guess having three houses and not on Welfare constitutes money in her eyes. I could slap my son big time! What was he thinking?! The biggest kicker is I told her she needed to fill out her W-4 so I know how much taxes to deduct and she said...I don't think I'm filling that out because of the taxes. No chit! We all have to pay taxes chick get real. I will no longer pay taxes for money I'm paying you!

Mac, JT and his gf Kelsey, who is a sweetheart, enjoy having me back. Last night JT announced he's gained 10 lbs. Kelsey said Mac has not shut off the heat since I've been back, the house is clean, the fridge is always full and we now have heat in the bathroom. The system needed filling/bleeding. My biggest concern now is when the daycare is repaired will this house fall apart again? I can't do it all.

Suzanne, Janet is my sailor son's gf who I invited to live with us for 6 months until he could find housing on Guam then move her there. Unfortunately they are not married, housing on Guam is extremely limited and off base is so expensive they decided she should stay put. The room she's staying in is my room, my bed and my house. I moved down to the daycare to accomodate her.

It has now been a year. And in that year she returned to Fl to retrieve the rest of their belongings and the car broke down. I paid for the repairs and her hotel. On her return trip was stopped for speeding and arrested for unpaid speeding tickets in Fl so I had to post bail, which I've never had to do for my own kids, and pay the impound cost for the car.

She started working at the daycare and after a month yelled out Shut Up Arsehole. to one of my kids...she was fired, ran and told my ds her story, we had words but he finally understood. After my other helper took a job giving me two days notice so I had to rehire her but on a very limited and monitored bases and that is where we are now.

I have got to tell you living with her is not pleasant for any of us.

Hugs, Bernie
