Rain's post about not sharing about what is going on in her life made me think today about how much any of us actually share about what is going on in our lives.
Most of us, me included probably think my life is pretty boring and who wants to hear about what is going on with me? Truthfully for me life is probably pretty boring or would be to most people. I am thank heavens healthy and being retired do pretty much what I want or don't want to do most of the time. So other than the normal daily routine of cleaning my house not much to talk about here.
My Ds is doing well, he is just about finished with his schooling and hoping to get a better job that would allow him to be able to live on his own again. I want him to be able to do that again and it is time for him to move out from the home of his parents and take his life back. As his mother of course I worry, and probably always will.
My Dd is doing well in her pregnancy now that morning sickness is behind her for now. She is wondering how she will handle two children instead of one. Told her like all the rest of us did with more than one child you just seem to do it. I was lucky and didn't have to work when my children were little. I do so admire women who work as well as have children at home. Not sure I could have handled that as well.
So there you have it that is what is going on in my life lately. I am tired of the cooler weather. Living in AZ we don't get snow and really cold but this winter has been cooler and we have gotten a lot of rain. Too many cloudy days. So for those of you where winter is still hanging around I hope that you will soon be seeing some warmer temps. We are suppose to get into the high 70's this week and maybe even the 80's.
So what's new with you and your well being???

Yeah - but usually amounts to a catch-up post about once every 6 wks or so. I do lurk & check posts most every day as a matter of habit as I'm settling into my HW mode but don't spend much time posting. But then for the most part - like everyone else, daily life just goes on - which is a good thing!
Been subbing at the HS pretty regularly the past month, but mostly still trying to keep up w/my Calculus II - 1st test next Monday (not gonna be good!) & now also have my on-line SEI (Structured English Immersion) required class for all teachers here in AZ to be completed by 2009 to remain certified. Gearing up to attempt the Secondary Math subject exam in April. Kids & G'kids are all doing well. Will see D32 & SIL this weekend for the big "Kindermusik Ball" Princess birthday party for 4yo GD. D25 & SIL were supposed to be down the following weekend for a big quad race in Lake Havasu, but their base didn't pass exercise inspections, so they've been back on exercise working 12 hr shifts the last several weeks and scheduled to continue for a few more so that trip has been cancelled. DH still driving around w/S23's Xmas gifts in the trunk of his car. Ran into his ex a couple weeks back & discovered much to his chagrin that he can no longer open the trunk of his little red car!!! S21 is now 21 & has celebrated w/several of his ASU friends back in Boston a couple different times now. Got back his 1st set of Harvard Law semester grades & was happy enuf to call right away - A's & B's. Should be hearing soon about Summer internship. S18 still slinging plaster & still living at home for now.
Weather has turned generally gorgeous here (the time of year I love here) so I've started my annual plant kill (planted some flowers), we've started again working on the brick paver patio & sidewalk project on hold from the summer heat of last year, & DH is in the process of buying an all-electric car from a friend up in Winslow. We've finally come to agreement on the piece of new furniture to put an HD TV on,so will be ordering that this week for delivery in about 10 wks - then for DH to decide on which TV.
Well I took the day off today todo HW, so I better get to it - til next time :)
Hi Nancy
Fibromyalgia is such a painful disease for sure and the weather has been constantly bad lately for those of you that live in the snowy regions of our country. Your life is probably no more boring than mine is. We all have to whine sometimes and when we do seems to me that we often find other who are having the same problems.
Never feel your life is so boring we don't want to hear about it. This board is about our well being and a place to share how life effects it.
Hoping today is a better one for you.

Hi Jo
Good to see you as always. I had to laugh when you said you have started your annual flower kill. I cannot grow a decent flower at all. My parents were florist for goodness sake!! Well it certainly didn't wear off on me at all. The weather has at last turn warmer again and it is such a nice time of year for us out here in AZ. Hope the rest of the country will soon be seeing some evidence of spring.
Hugs
Such a fun way to catch up with the lovely ladies here, thanks for doing this Mary. I am also one who feels my life is routine and not that interesting but here goes...
Oldest ds got back from Afghanistan 10 days ago and his sweet wife promptly fell and hurt her knee. Fortunately, nothing torn, it will heal with her wearing braces and being cautious. They now live in TN so

I'm so glad you are all posting and sharing.
A fellow flower murderer. ;) Yet, we persist in planting them since THIS is going to be the year that our gardens will be great! Umhm.
Year before last, I had a tomato plant (both of ours potted) going about a month before my neighbor, whose patio got more shade than I did in the day, had more tomatoes than she could keep up with. I was excited because I got a whopping six tomatoes! Oh, well. I've already decided that there will be no tomato plants this year.
This winter was so odd. I have two flowers, annuals, mind you, that kept blooming even in the snow and ice. I'm still quite puzzled about that. Oh, and I have a petunia that didn't bloom, but the plant kept growing all winter. It's quite large and has two blooms on it already, during the below freezing weather we had. Well, I guess those guys didn't want to be killed.
Here's hoping your test goes well!!
I'm so glad your ds is back safely. I can't say that and to thank him for his service enough times. I hope his wife's knee heals well and quickly. It's always a difficult adjustment, anyway, when our soldiers are returning from a long deployment.
I hope that the pulminologist is able to figure out what the problem is. It never feels good and gets a little scary when you start having breathing problems, eh? After several years of my asthma not being under control, I was finally able to see a specialist and feel much better. It's still not 100%, but it's better than it has been in years. Like no hospital trips for asthma this winter! Yeah!
HI Cappy
We just don't see enough of you around here any more. Your life is no more boring than mine. Sorry about the breathing issues sure hope it is nothing serious and you will be better soon.
As for your Dil ouch but glad she didn't do much damage that a little extra care will let it all heal. I sure hope your Ds will
HI Suzanne
I agree it is nice to hear what everyone is doing and you do learn new things. I am glad you are enjoying having your boys home again for a while. You are so right it won't be forever and we have enjoyed getting to know our son as an adult.
