. . . how to roll down a grassy hill! LOL! We walked to the neighborhood park yesterday. It was SO nice out! After a bit he started wandering around away from the playground and I got an idea as I watched him out on the grass. There's a hill there that is perfect for rolling down, so I got him to come over to me and lie down.
At first he protested, but then seeing I was doing it, he laid down, then I started rolling, then he followed! It was so much fun and I was laughing my head off! He dug it too, and kept it up for about 15 min.! What a hoot!
We both got damp and a bit dirty, but who cares!? It was one of those moments I'll never forget.
Along with this: When we got home, I flopped down on the couch and he got up on my lap. He said, "Granny, look!" A hummer was at the feeder. Hunter put his chin down on my shoulder and waited to see if another one came back. Moments later I recognized that deep breathing pattern. He was out like a light! All 48 pounds of 5-yr old!
I was in heaven!
Hugs, All,

What fun Red. Now that is what grandma's are for getting dirty and having fun!! Sounds like a great time for you both. Nothing like a sleeping child in your arms even when they are 5. Yep sounds like heaven to me!!
I love it too Red
thanks for sharing!
I used to like rolling down hills...then I found it made me dizzy!
but to do it for a dgk...I'd do it..(they all know I am dizzy anyway!)

we expect the dgds here shortly so mom and dad can take dgs to dr for check up
