Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question. How much does a person talk when they are still under after surgery? I am married and have been for a very long time. I met someone about 4 yrs ago. No one knows how I feel about this person. I have done nothing about it. I have only talked to this person serveral times. We have had some very good conversations. Nothing flirtly or anything like that. Just "life" conversations. This person is not married and has no idea how I feel. Like I said no one does. Anyway I think about this person all the time. 4 yrs is a long time to hold a torch I know. I have prayed to get this person out of my head and my heart. Not happening I am about to have surgery in a week and am worried since this person is on my mind that I may say something before I come out of it. Do people spill their guts or their minds while they are under?

HI and welcome to our board. Sorry I have no idea if people really do talk during surgery. I have had several surgeries in my life have never had a Dr tell me that I talk during it.
I would not worry to much about it.

No never heard of anyone babbling away in recovery either. At that point you are just mostly sleeping.
