Thinking about friendship...

Something that has been on my mind.
Thinking about friendships, in 3D and/or online. What are the differences to you if any? In what way might you treat one or the other differently?
How would you define friendship?
AND the biggest question of all...What does friendship mean to you?
To me it means someone who supports you and you support them. You have common interests and share things about your lives. Joys, sorrows and everyday happenings. In many cases come to learn their vulnerabilities. Would never use this knowledge against them, especialy when they are at their most vulnerable. At times tread lightly because you know it's a difficult time for them. Certainly there are times you may make an observation and think it best to share with them even if negative. Personally, I think there are times for that and times it can wait.
Maybe I'm missing something. Would really like to hear what all of you think.

Hi Rain
I think there are a couple of types of friends. Those that you know only occasionally and are friendly to but really don't spend a lot of time with. Then there are those "golden friends" I like to call them. Those are the ones you share you hopes and dreams with. The joys of life and the sorrows. These friends you can depend on being there for you whenever you need someone to lean on. They don't judge you for what you do or say.
I love how you worded that Rain, and I feel that way as well.
I do not
Rain,
Your description sounds reasonable to me!
I think you hit the nail right on the head, Rain.
Kat
Rain, that was a good description of friendship.
I wish we all lived closer to one another, and had more
time to share with one another.
Thank you for all that you do, Rain :)
