Some of you know that I have spent many hours lately on a church web-site. This was a totally new endeavor for me, but I am pretty proud of my work!! Right now, my goal is for it to look professional, have correct and up to date info and be easy to navigate. I'll add bells and whistles as I learn more. Take a look and let me know what you think?

What a fabulous site! You did a super job...as someone who is pretty much computer clueless...I am impressed!
We belong to a very small UMC here so I was excited to see what a fellow UMC is doing.
I have to say Sooze you did a fantastic job... it looks very professional!
Boy howdy, I'll say you have put in a lot of work on that, Sooze! Wow! Very nice! I looked into the E-zekiel program too when we were developing our Web site, but they decided on another way to go.
One thing that is popular on our site is the photo gallery. I try to get photos from different events here on as they come along. People like to see their pictures, and I think it gives visitors a good look at what we're like. We also have a really active liturgical arts group, and they really do lovely work. I try and get their work on the gallery, too.
Good job! Now you can sit back and collect accolades! So important for
HI Sooze
What a great job you did. I enjoyed browsing through the site!!
Love ya
Thanks for looking at it Lori.
Thanks Red!
Well, you know, we haven't here. Since they are for the most part children of members, it has really not occurred to me. We have kids on the Web site for VBS, mission stuff, etc., and no one has ever objected.
Now, from several other experiences, I can say it seems not to be too big of a deal. When I worked at the newspaper, we did not have to get permission to photograph kids at say, a game, since they are public events.
At the public gardens I work at, we often have kids out there working off community service or doing service learning projects, and we do ask them for permission. They either say yes or no , and we respect their answers, but no forms.
We asked the schools whether we needed a special form from them to photograph the kids
