Anyway, the vacation was great. We arrived in Tampa late Thursday night and stayed at a Mariott's right at the airport. Then, in the morning we drove to dil's cousins' home and she took us to her mom's place where we would be staying for two days. It was a very nice condo on a little lake and we had it all to ourselves as the aunt is now in a home. We spent time visiting with the cousin, going to the nursing home and visiting with the aunt, relaxing on the beach, and back to the cousin's house for a nice dinner. The cousin has a lovely home on a canal with a beautiful swimming pool and patio area - sheer heaven. When we called home and found that we had 13-1/2 inches of snow at home that day (Good Friday), we enjoyed it even more. On Saturday we wanted to spend most of the day at the beach but unfortunately it rained most of the day and we just did some wandering around. In the evening we went to Crabby Bill's because stone crabs are in season. It was a quaint place and much fun and good food. Easter morning we drove to Clearwater and went to sunrise service at a church where one of ds' old high school friends is now the pastor. It was very nice to see him and meet his family. I probably haven't seen him since their high school graduation back in '86. After a nice Easter breakfast at church and some time reminiscing, we headed up to Orlando and Disney World. After about 5-1/2 days, we did & saw pretty much everything that was there, including some time at Blizzard Beach water park and time around the resort pool. To my great pleasure it was "Festival of Flowers" at Epcot. All I can say is "Beautiful". Now that I'm back in Wisconsin in 36º weather, I really miss the 80 degree temperatures, the lovely green of the trees & grass and of course the gorgeous flowers in Florida. Still, after being gone for nine days, it's nice to be back at home with lots of peace and quiet. I do think I'd like to go out and buy some flowers for the house though to try to bring back some of the magic.
It would take me forever to catch up on all the posts, so I'll just jump right in here and hope everyone is doing well.
Hope you all have a great Sunday.

Welcome home Kaci!
Glad you had such a good time, Kaci! Frank says he's been to Crabby Bill's a number of times and has a couple of their t-shirts. I never went, but they sure do have some good seafood places down there!
Too bad you had to come back to all that snow. When we came back from AZ, it was raining sideways here. Ugh!
I think getting flowers is a great idea! Maybe it will inspire Mother Nature as well!
Welcome back,
Red
What a wonderful vacation that was, Kaci :)
It's hard to come back to awful weather, yet it
feels nice to just come home and especially to
be with the family that you so missed.
See ya soon!
Cindy

HI Kaci
Sounds like you had a great time in FL. My Ds and his Ds are at Walt Disney World having just arrived there today. Hope they have good weather. It sounds like you have some lovely weather and a bit of rain.
Shock to come back from those 80's to cold and snow but hopefully soon you will be able to plant some flowers in your yard but for now you can just enjoy a bit of those spring flowers in your home
So glad you are home safely.
Love ya
