Very windy here today!!

Which means dusting is out of the question today. Even with the doors and windows closed some of the sandy dust seems to find it way inside on a day like today.

Not much going on here. My Ds returned from his trip to Walt Disney World with his son. They went down for spring break.Had a great time. The trip back to IN was a bit of a bummer. Their flight leaving FL to IN got delayed an hour. They had a change of planes in Atlanta and missed their connecting flight back to IN. Spent six hours in the airport waiting to get another flight out. Finally they were able to get a flight to another city in IN. His exwife and her dh picked them up. Ds was also missed his flight home to AZ on Sat due to the delays and so had to come back on Sunday instead of Sat. Their luggage of course got lost with all the problems. It did finally arrive on Tuesday. Ds says he is glad he doesn't have plans to fly again for a while. Airlines sure are having some big problems lately.

My Dd had another ultra sound on Thursday. All is well and we definately have another dgs on the way.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

HUGS to all

Great excuse, Mare. It's windy here too...a lot. I've just always used the excuse of all the animals moving in and out, but I think the wind is a better one. (I'll gloss over the fact that it's usually mud out there, not dust... nitpicky, don't you think?)

I would REALLY avoid the airlines right now. It's amazing that this has happened adn has gotten so out of control. I just hope something good comes out of it in the end.

I have never been to either Disneyland or Disney World. I am waiting for some grandkids (in this country!) so I have a really good excuse to go.

Hi Kat

Well hey I say any excuse not to dust is a good one. Well you really don't need to be a kid or have kids or even grandchildren to enjoy Disneyland or Disney World. However it does make it more fun I think if you do have children with you.

Hi Rj

Well Sunday was another rather windy day so I only did a little dusting and will have to get the rest of it today. Does one ever actually have a dust free home??? LOL

Grandkids are just the best aren't they?

Yep when the winds are over 50 mph there isn't much use in dusting. Our trash can that is bungee corded to the house's wall was tipping over. lol This week we're supposed to get temps into the mid 70s just to make us think it isn't gonna snow again. Ha! I know better! All the 70s is doing is making our fire alerts go to red. Hugs and don't get blown away. Dorothy had nothing on us! -Bobbie

Hi Bobbie

Well here 25 mph winds kick up the dust. But we did have those high winds this time. They say we are going to have another round of those high winds starting tomorrow because of another cold front pushing in from the west. Not much cooler for us but here we go again with the dust!!

Love ya
