Feeling better and at last I am home!!

We got home last night about 10 pm with a few delays in our flight. I was so very tired and hurting a bit by then but so very happy to at last  be home again. I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to get back here again.

The trip was only three weeks long but with the uplanned medical emergency taking ten days to stay in the hospital and have my gall bladder removed it seemed much longer.

Having four days at Dd's to recover helped so much. I am feeling better. Still some digestive problems but they are also getting better and the pain getting less as the days go by.  Today has been a bit of a rough day after flying home but I have taken it easy and as the afternoon turns to evening here I think tomorrow will be a better day.

I just want to say thanks to all of you for all your prayers and postive thoughts for me during this mess. I got the flowers and they  did brighten my days in the hospital. I even took them with me to Dd's and they lasted until we left to come home yesterday. You all are just the best!! Thanks so much.

I am going to head back for me comfortable chair and rest a while before dinner time.

Love to all

I sure hope to never take a vacation like that one again LOL. Well the gall bladder is gone so it will never bother me again. The healing is happening and the pain begins to lesson. The problem is my acid reflux not liking all the shake up with my system and seems to be causing the most problem right now.

Yep gotta see what my systems likes and what it doesn't. Right now it doesn't like to much but we are just getting well enough to start to eat regular foods again.

Hey Mary.Get yourself some "Gaviscon"liquid. It works well for me at those times when I have too much acid in my stomach. It has a numbing kind of effect too.Well that's what I experience.

Hi Doreen

I have the liquid Gaviscon also have the tablets and it does help a lot. The Dr says once things start to really heal up the acid reflux will also calm down. Feeling much better today so things are starting to work again.

(((Mare)))

So good to see you back on the board and posting!

Good to be home...finally, huh?'

but as difficult as it was having this happen far from home, you were close to dd and benefitted from her TLC

glad to hear you got the flowers!

wow..the dr said 2 mo?! well, then follow his advice..take it easy

you are no good to anyone else if you don't take care of yourself

boy, we missed you!

when I was so sick in 2005-2006, and recuperating from surgery..I spent many hours with my laptop, playing games (I can recommend "Bejeweled"! LOL..and now RainForest adventure) kept my mind occupied

I was listing my surgeries for Bob..and said.."body part by body part"...I view it as "lightening the load" LOL

less parts to worry about!

so good to have you back

continue getting better!

hugs
