Feeling better and at last I am home!!

We got home last night about 10 pm with a few delays in our flight. I was so very tired and hurting a bit by then but so very happy to at last  be home again. I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to get back here again.

The trip was only three weeks long but with the uplanned medical emergency taking ten days to stay in the hospital and have my gall bladder removed it seemed much longer.

Having four days at Dd's to recover helped so much. I am feeling better. Still some digestive problems but they are also getting better and the pain getting less as the days go by.  Today has been a bit of a rough day after flying home but I have taken it easy and as the afternoon turns to evening here I think tomorrow will be a better day.

I just want to say thanks to all of you for all your prayers and postive thoughts for me during this mess. I got the flowers and they  did brighten my days in the hospital. I even took them with me to Dd's and they lasted until we left to come home yesterday. You all are just the best!! Thanks so much.

I am going to head back for me comfortable chair and rest a while before dinner time.

Love to all

HI Terry

Being far away was the hardest part, thank heavens our Dd was only an 8 hour drive away once I got out of the hospital.

Think I will stick around home for a while now.

So great to hear you are feeling better Mary! I'm sure just being home helps a lot. Take things slowly sweetie. Recovering from surgery takes time and patience. Gentle hugs!

I know just how it feels Mary to be in a strange hospital.

I was in the tramma center 2hrs from my home.and 6hrs from family.

Family didnt get down to see me.Only person that saw me almost daily was Patrick.

It made being there quite scarey.

Welcome home, Mare. I'm so glad you're home and on the mend. NOT the best vacation experience.

It's great the way pets respond when you're not well or feeling down. I don't know what we'd do without them.

I hope every day gets better and better for you.
