Today one of her girlfriends went for a ride with her boyfriend in his car. He is not the best driver to say the least. Anyhow he lost control of the car and crashed. Dd's friend did not survive the crash, she had a broken neck, and died waiting for a helicopter to take her to the city hospital. The boy has some scrapes and bruising but is ok.
DD found out that she had an accident about half an hour after it happened and then later heard she was injured but after school she found out that she did not make it. Britt is not handling this very well. She is on her way to spend time with me at work.
Anyhow think I will let Britt stayhome tomorrow as she is not going to be much good at school. I am sure not many of the friends will be ther either.
Oh how I wish I could take the pain away from her, and how sad I feel for her parents.
Hugs,

It is so sad when a young life is lost Lori. We just have to trust that God needed her more. I pray that Britt will grieve openly and get through this by
