Tired of being Tired and bored!!

Ok so it has been almost three weeks since I had my surgery. I am feeling pretty good now but seems every afternoon I get very tired and have to rest for almost an hour. In fact I still have to take it pretty easy so I don't do much at all. I do a little dusting in the house and Dh and I do run errands some days but for the most part I am taking it very easy. So getting tired of being tired LOL and also find I am beginning to be bored. TV is a vast wasteland in the daytime and not much better at night. I am reading a lot and have been enjoying that but after a while my eyes get tired and have to take a break. Even playing on the computer seems boring somedays.  My body is letting me know it is still healing and I am going to have to be patient but my mind says lets get this done or lets go do that.

Ok I am done whinning now and will go be a good girl and rest a bit more!!

Bored or not, you know your body needs to heal and that means rest. We do our best healing while we are sleeping, sooooo, for now that's what you need my friend.

Hi Bb

Well for most eveyone it is the time of year when you can finally get out more and enjoy the warmer weather. However living in AZ this is the time of year when staying inside is probably a wiser choice because of the heat. LOL Mostly it is simply because I hate just sitting around and want to be able to get my life back to normal again. Also getting tired of hearing Dh complain about having to do the housework LOL

HI Kay

Yep even housework would be better than sitting around doing nothing. Also getting very tired of listening to Dh complain because he has to do it. No way am I going to over do it. That bout of pancreatitis was not something I wish to stir up again. The gall bladder surgery was a piece of cake compared to the pain. No thanks.

So I am just whinning a bit and wishing for it to heal faster. I promise to behave.

Hope your colonscopy went well and did they get your MRI scheduled? Hope you are feeling better and how about your Dh any relief for him?

HI Gabby

Well I usually don't sleep in the afternoon just lay down for a bit but mostly I just sit in my chair. I like the judge shows sometimes too but. Seems lately I am just antsy to get back to normal. I know it takes time to heal but enough already body let get the job done. Ok so I am impatient LOL

Yeah, got a call from my doc last night....MRI showed torn meniscus, so today I'll be calling to schedule a repair surgery on that. The colonoscopy was negative, except that he saw two small diverticuli and wants to see them again in 5 years. No biggie. They're not that uncommon and rarely develop into anything.

Frank got a cortisone shot in his shoulder Monday, thank goodness. I was about ready to shoot him myself! He's feeling much better, and nearly back to normal.

Glad you're on the mend. That pancreatitis sounds nasty. No, you don't want that again!

HI Red

Well glad at least you got the MRI sorry it needs surgery but once it is done things will get much better for you. Well at least you have five years before you have to have that colonscopy again. I am sure there will be no problems.

A dh that is sick or hurting is a pain you know where. Glad he is doing better after getting the shot.
