ACK I QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to go to the drop-in clinic yesterday, as I have this rash on both my hands and arms up to my elbows.  Talk about itchy... it is driving me absolutely batty!  Ok I have aways been batty but just a bit more than usual!

Anyhow Dr had one look at me and said I have a very bad case of dermatitis.  Now what caused it can be one of two things I can think of.  I am thinking either it is the grout I used when grouting the  kitchen tiles, or it was a lotion that my gf gave me as part of a thank you gift for watching her home when she was away.

Anyhow this dang rash is under my rings even, between fingers every spot pretty much from finger tips to the elbow and a bit beyond!  Now what the Dr. said I should do is wait a couple weeks when it is gone and then try the lotion to see if I react,  if I do then I know that is what it is if not then it would be the grout.  I have my fingers crossed it is the grout, because this lotion is the Victoria Secret pear lotion....one of my favorites!

We have all the kids home this weekend for Fathers Day.. and what are we doing ... not relaxing that is for sure, one dsil is painting the soffets the other is helping dh lay the subfloor.  I think us girls will be the go get this or that girls.  I want to cut the lawn and weed eat around the  outer side of our property.

My ovens burner  caught on fire the other day, so I went looking for a new stove.  I want a convection oven, but do not want to pay a huge fortune for it because we will likely leave it when we move... but in the mean time I want a stove that I really like.  I did look at several stoves but before I buy it I want to check a few more out first.  So  dinners are going to be made on the BBQ and the George Foreman grill I have until I get the now stove. I know I could get a new element but this is a very old stove and I really do want new so I am having my way on this one..LOL!

ANyhow  hope everyone had a good weekend!

Hugs,

HI Lor

Well dermatitis is not good but also something that can be easily gotten rid of once you figure out what the heck caused it. I too hope it is the grouting of the tiles and that sounds like the most likely source. However I sometimes have problems with lotions from Victoria Secret and other places like that

Here's my oven story.

I went to light the pilot for the oven and it just wouldnt stay lit.

I did this a few times before calling the Propane service.

I told Pat what was going on with the stove. He said You must be doing it wrong.Come on ladies and gents.I'm 52 I Have lit them before..Men anyways

The propane man came.An old OLD man.Him and Pat went in the kitchen to check out the stove.

I said I'm going outside.I dont want to be to close when you blow the house up.

Well SOGun if the oven stayed lit for them. Now they are the macho men I guess.

I said I smell propane.I'm getting out of here. And no kidding. The stove BLEW UP from guess what.YEP A GAS LEAK. I came in after the boom.An saw two very white men.The old man appologized TO ME.LMAON
