Summer has arrived here in AZ with those high temps that happen in June. It was 110 yesterday and suppose to be 112 today and stay that way until Thursday when it will cool down to 109 LOL. So time to stay inside the AC and only go outside when you have to. You just don't do much outside in this weather unless it involves water. There are people who do work outside but they start work just before the sun comes up and stop at noon.
My Dgs #1 will be here on Wed for his seven week stay with his father and dh and I. Thank heavens we have a pool for him and will keep him busy with programs at the library and taking him to see the Diamondbacks play a baseball game or two. Also the circus is in town the last week of this month.
I am finally feeling good again. Will see my Dr on Wednesday and hopefully he will say I can get back to doing a normal routine again. I know Dh would be glad if that happened. LOL Will also have those yearly check up things to get done.
Stay cool my friends.

Ack Mare I can't imagine that temps there... here I am complaining it is too cold for this time of year and you are being heated out!
Oh how exciting to have your dgs there for the 7 weeks, I am sure you will find a big change in him.
Postitive vibes coming your way that the Dr gives you a clean bill of health!
Hi Lor
It is just plain HOT!! Even the breeze is hot. Sorta like a hot oven.Very dry no moisture just very hot in the sun. The shade is cooler in the mornings and in the early evening. I sure hope it will warm up for you there soon.
I am so ready to just get things back to normal. I have really been pretty good about behaving and not doing much. I am sooooooooooooooo bored!! Mostly right now I want to get in the pool. LOL.
Love ya

Ah thanks Mare... now wish that it were that easy to send warm air or cool air where we need it!
I hope that the doctor gives you the clean bill of health and lets you do all the stuff you are itching to get to!
I bet the swimming pool is calling your name, but hopefuly it is just one more day til you are allowed to do that!
Keep cool my friend!
We are under a high heat adivsory for the entire week. So the pool is going to be the place to spend most of our time.
Love ya
I did sit on the steps yesterday in my bathing suit. Felt pretty good.
One more day and hopefully things can get back to normal for me.
Love ya
Ain't it great :!
Was 116 here a couple days ago - the A/C set at 82 feels quite comfortable in the house... We don't have a pool, but my sis did help me get an outdoor patio shower that we hook up to the hose that this weather is made for when doing much of anything outside - cold showers!!!!! (after the water in the hose cools down to well temperatures...)
I went out w/DH yesterday to start looking at what's on the local new car lots to replace his little red Hyundai Tiberon. Between the heat and just too much walking around for me, I didn't really get very far - spent more time sitting at our stops in a cool place than going around w/him. Felt like a little old lady - especially when just to look at me there's no apparent sign of the accident. Took a pain pill when we got home & sat in front of the TV the rest of the day.
I think the ribs & lung are healing OK, but now that I'm weaning the pain pills & the pain isn't quite so centered in the left ribs, the rest of the non-seeable kind of damages is beginning to surface along w/the older damage in my back letting me know it didn't go away & is probably a little worse for wear...
DH is driving over to Barstow this afternoon to present a scholarship letter from the union at their HS awards ceremony + on the way we want to see if we can locate the road crews that were right there w/me after the accident. I was planning on going w/him, but after yesterday, not so sure that will be a wise thing to try - of course if I take a pain pill sitting in the car isn't much different than sitting at home. Part of that was we had planned a road trip to visit w/D25 in Mountain Springs Idaho and around to Clear Lake Iowa for the 4th w/my folks the last couple weeks of the month - which starts next week... If I can't do a short day trip, don't think that is going to happen, so I'm trying to build up to it - I hate to have to cancel our vacation plans. D25 & SIL are re-deploying to Afghanistan sometime over the next 4 months and after everything I really want to see them.
Good to hear you are on the mend. Here's to a clean bill of health tomorrow, a great visit w/that g'son, and a generally good summer!!

HI Jo
Yep pretty hot!! Our outdoor temp here today is 115 right now. I hear you about the old lady feeling. Geeze I could not do much for a long time without wearing out or needing something for pain. This heat will not help you at all so take short trips and build up. Going to take some time for those ribs to heal as well as that lung.
I sure hope you don't have to change your vacation plans.
Stay cool girl!! Rest and get well.
Love ya
Sending lots n lots of good luck vibes today!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Lor. Getting ready to leave now will let you know how it goes!!
Love ya
