Went to the Dr today and got the ok to let life get back to normal for me. I am under no restictions now YiPPIE!!!! Have to have some blood work done and the normal mammogram and bone scan, also need that dreaded colonscopy this time but all in all after all I have been through lately I am healthy again. They will keep an eye on me for diabetes which is a side effect of having pancreatitis that can happen but not going to worry about that so far all is good and no signs of it so far.

We have Evan here now for the summer so I am going to go join him and grandpa in the pool!!

Good for you, Mare! Now just ease back into things gradually or you may pay for it. You've been taking it easy for a while, so you won't have your "sea legs" quite yet. Work up to your former routine slowly.

How fun you have Evan there! How long does he get to stay? I can't believe my DGS Dallas turned 7 Monday. Geez, seems like he was just toddling around!

Post some pics of him, eh?

PS, the colonoscopy isn't as bad as I'd been led to believe. The very worst part is the taste of the stuff you have to drink.

Well, there is some good news!

Nice to be feeling good again, isn't it?

I know you will be cautious about what you eat and what you do

A colonoscopy is no fun...but necessary

Now that Evan is there,, you will have such a fun distraction!

enjoy

Hi Red

That is what the Dr said to ease back slowly but as long as I feel good I can do the things I want.

I have had a colonscopy before about 10 years ago. The stuff you have to drink is the worse that and spending all that time in the bathroom when you do.

Evan is here for 7 weeks. It is his summer visitation with his dad.

Great news Mare, you get back to living your way. All the tests aren't fun, but have to have them.

Hope your having a wonderful time with Evan,

Rain

HI Doreen

I usually get a bone density every two years as long as I get good results when I have it done.

HI Dutch

Yes it sure feels good to be feeling well again. Right now Dgs is watching cartoons. Distraction is a good word for this LOL. I am just glad that at last I can get things back to normal around here.

It will be fun to have Evan here that is for sure.

Hi Rain

Yes getting my house back to the way I like to keep it will be great but going to take some work. Jim did a good job but he never does it the way I do.

Love ya
