WONDERFUL NEWS!

OMgosh, this family of mine has so much going on, most of it good.
Will tell you about a few, if not it would take several pages LOL!

My mom – is still living on the Big island of Hawaii under the care of my
sister and brothers. It is a day by day thing because she recently became
borderline bi-polar (slow course over the past two years). In short, she
cannot live alone, needs supervision.
Prior to the two years, she was a very active and dynamic woman in her
late 60’s, and though that same “person” is not likely to come back fully,
At least we still have her and she is being taken care of. In a strange way,
her situation has brought out the best in my siblings and others around them.
Perhaps that is a “final gift” of sorts, if you will.

Next, daughter Lian is expecting her third bio child! She has my 12- and 4-year
old bio granddaughters, and the 5 adopted grandchildren.
Even though she’ll be 35 this year and this is a TOTAL surprise baby,
they are ecstatic that she and Ed may finally have a biological son.
Another girl would be okay too LOL! Now this will bring my total to 13 grands.

Lastly, my youngest child Kelsey, nearly 18 and just graduated and now
working full-time --last week with our blessings, she got Married.

Yeppers!! She and sweet army guy Robb (age 21) have been so in love
that they wanted to get married BEFORE he deploys to Iraq in September,
a mere two months away! Apparently, across the nation thousands of
young couples are doing this before the servicemember deploys.

This way, she gets all the military benefits, and should the worst happen
in the Middle East, she will be taken care of. And many of the benefits
will extend to us, hehehe…...
They already have a house on base, via a miracle because you usually
have to wait. It is huge!

They will not have to buy much because everyone is giving them a lot,
from china and crystal from me, to furniture and whatever else that goes
into a first home from my older kids, our other relatives and from their
military friends who wanted to help. Older military friends that already
are established with families and so forth have been reaching out to them.

I am in humble awe, because so much has fallen into place for Kelsey and Robb,
much more than I am writing here. What everyone has been doing for them,
has been part of the answer to our continued prayers for so young a couple.

Though we had very sick family members back in April to include myself,
life continues to bring so much Joy!

Big Hugs to all!

HI Cindy

I am glad your Mom has her childrend to help her. Being bi-polar is a difficult situation to live with sometimes. Both for her and for those that take care of her.

Congratulation to your Dd on her pregnancy. I bet you are just so excited!!

Congratulation to Kelsey as well on her marriage!! I will keep her dh in my prayers as he deploys to Iraq.

Life is a good thing Cindy even when it sometimes doesn't seem that way.

Love ya

Thank you, Lor, and Lian's baby is due in late
January...our year will begin nicely!

As for Robb, he deploys in September, which is
coming up so soon. I can't imagine Kelsey alone
in her big house on base after he leaves, so we
will be spending a lot of time up there.

Mahalo!

Mare, many thanks!

I was surprised that bi-polar can come about
unforeseen in the elderly. I learned that it
happens more often than we think; one never knows.

Thank you for your prayers for Robb; seems like
we just got to know this sweet boy from Michigan
and soon he's gotta go!

Mahalo!
