Saturday Madelynn turned a big ole (((( 1 )))) .My childrens gramma Barber took them all out for dinner at Ponderosa(steak house)to celebrate Maddys B-Day.
When they got home.Heather opens the front door and smelled GAS.They are VERY familar with that smell.
Ever since they moved there in April I believe. They've had nothing but gas leak after gas leak in the basement.
This time the Gas company said no more fixing to them. They are old pipes and brittle. And shut off the gas to their side of the house.and opened every window.THEN told them. They cant stay here tonight.Maybe tomarrow.Great now they are homeless in a way.It took them going to the next town over before finding a motel/hotel what ever.So all 5-in one room.probably wasnt so kwel.Oh and you'll love this..Heather called the landlord and told her.She IS paying for the room!!!!That's my Heather.
I called to check on them. They hadnt gone home yet. They went to a car show for something to do.
I really dont like that they are going back there. The neighbor smokes and the gas is on in that side of the house. What if a gas pocket gets to the other apartment.BOOM.Heather told the lady this.An she said she didnt care..Some people can be so ignorant.Landlord is JUST as ignornant.
They cant afford to move again. So I hope the landlord will do the right thing.Have them install new gas pipes.I like my family as they are,not in pieces..I told that to Heather. She laughed an said I hear ya!
Hope your weekend was/is a nice one

Hi Doreen
Wow that is a scary thing a gas leak. Sounds like the landlord needs to get those pipes taken care of soon. Hope the stupid neighbor will wise up and not smoke in or around the house until the problem can be fixed.
Sending postive vibes your way that everything will be fixed ASAP
