Our budgets have always been tight, and these days it’s been very hard to take on new costs. But a lot of medical expenses can’t be avoided, and when it comes to family, we still need to find a way to afford insurance and regular doctor’s visits. There are some programs that can help, but how are you facing the problem of affording healthcare? Is your insurance covering enough, or do you have any tips to share to help us save money?

HI Karla

Nope no tips on saving on health care. Since my medical crisis in May the medical bills have been pretty high. Thanks heavens for our insurance which did cover a lot of it but we were still stuck with over $2000.00 we had to pay. Being retired and too young for medicare yet medical insurance is a big expense for us. We do what we can by having a yearly physical that our insurance covers 100% hoping that will uncover any problems and hopefully they can be taken care of easier. However when your gall bladder goes on you and you get prancreatitis you just have to roll with the punches.
