Age Steals Our Happiness Glow

Ever wonder why that guy wrote that book, Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars, or is it Men are from Venus and Women are from Mars? Hmmmm, I'm not sure either, but according to a study done by the University of Cambridge in England and the University of Southern it doesn't really matter because what they say is "young women are happier than their male peers, but as time rolls by and they become less able to achieve lasting love and financial success, females end up the sadder sex."

The study found that women are happier earlier in life with marriage and finances, but then during middle age, men surpasses them.  Also, men are at there lowest during their 20's because of their financial marital status, but women are usually happiest.

As men age they reach many of their desired aspirations in their careers, family lives and financial lives, but women, well we feel less satisfied of the two.  In fact, we began to fade, and lose our glow.

So what gives?  Can men and women ever achieve a happy-medium and be happy and satisfied at the same time?  I think so, but how about you read the rest of this study and then give us your feed back.

I agree Red. Self realization being the most important if you ask me. Women also need a circle of friends to interact with. That beauty lies inside not on the outside which age steals away from us all.

Red,

Personally I think true happiness comes from within, not any external thing...so I think that if we choose to be happy and satisfied with ourselves first then we will continue to glow always!
