New answers for my pain...

As most of you know...I have been having terrible abdominal pains past 3 weeks...  had X-rays and external and internal Ultrasound the other day.   The pain got no better after my cleansing.... was really hoping that was all it was, but no.  My pain has gotten so bad over the weekend I could barely walk, but I finally got some answers when the doctor called me while I was on our trip ....  I need surgery for a tennis sized fibroid tumor on my uterus....fun!  At least I know what is causing this pain.  I will be asking for a complete hysterectomy!! Will know more tomorrow....

Sorry it took soooo long to find out the cause - but glad to hear they finally did! Sometimes it seems amazing to think what we have to endure to find the root of the problem when we know our bodies & that there is a problem that has to have a very real cause, but it's not one that is simple to diagnose or the first explanation given by the professionals...

Take care & hope you're on your way to feeling better very soon.

Hi Susan, I'm glad you came out of "lurkdom" to share with us! So sorry you're going through this. Hope it helps that some of us here have BTDT. Sure don't understand why it takes so long to get in to see doctors when pain is so excruciating. No MAN would ever put up with this kind of pain for weeks, I'll bet you a hundred bucks!

Gabby AND Susan....let us know as soon as you can what's going on with you next!
