This has been a busy summer and I haven't been here to catch up in a while.
We just spent a week in Tahoe visiting my dental hygiene classmates. It was a week long reunion. We rented a house and 13 of us were guests. ( Classmates and spouses). I graduated from the U of Hawaii. It was a memorable vacation and it was great to see everyone again. Lake Tahoe is so beautiful. We took a boat ride across the lake, played cards, put together puzzles, the guys golfed and the women cooked and visited and laughed till our sides hurt. We hope to do it again in Iowa in two years.
After a wet cold summer we are having a beautiful fall. Good for walking and hiking except that my feet are hurting. I need to see a foot doc. If it is not one thing it is another. Got my knee fixed and now it is my feet.
My twins are off firefighting for the summer. They have been in CA a couple of times (northern), Oregon and Washington. Not too many fires up here yet because it has been so wet. Home base is an hour away for one and 3 hours for the other one so we see then sometimes between fires. Thought I had locked everything up when we went to CA but I got a call from Aaron and he was in the kitchen looking for his mail. Asked him how he got in and he said the dining room window was open!!! I swear I have never locked a kid out of the house. Thieves could get in just as quickly if they wanted I guess.
Hope you are all doing well this summer. I haven't had time to get caught up on all the posts.

HI Suz
Good to see you. What a great way to have a reunion. I bet you all had a great time sounds like lots of fun. Never been to Tahoe but hope to get over there soon. Heard it is beautiful there.
Glad your boys are close to home and able to come home one in a while. My kids would be out of luck without a key to get in when we are gone. LOL
Sorry to hear your feet are giving you trouble. Hope they can do something to help you out there.
Summer here went sailing by with my medical problems in May to having our dgs here for seven weeks and then heading back for the birth of dgs #3. I am glad to be home again and thinking I will not budge until spring!! Well ok maybe just a little trip to Vegas or something like that LOL.
Love ya
