with all the news about the election and hurricanes, I don't know if anyone caught the news that Bolivia has thrown out the US Ambassador. Well, one of my former students works for that Embassay. I spoke to her mother the other night. My former student was caught in DC while her family, husband and 2 kids are stuck in bolivia. Hopefully they can get out soon, but if they do they can only take one suitcase each.

They are afraid when they leave their house will be looted.

please keep them in your thoughts and prayers...wonderful family...she is truly a good will ambassador from the USA to the world..Bolivia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Slovakia...

thanks

Honestly I have not heard of the situation and have been more concerned about our own financial meltdown. Hope they get out safely. If the house gets looted so what? They escaped with their lives. Anyone dealing with Chavez is no friend to America. I will keep your friends in my prayers and remember it was their decision to go into politics. We impart the knowledge but they decide what to do with it.
