Update on Dgs today

I talked to Dd today on the phone she is so very tired and was getting out of the hospital for a while to get some lunch. The nurses were there with dgs so she didn't have to worry about him.

Five times during the night his heart was racing again from about midnight until 5 AM. They are adjusting the medication and when  I talked to her about noon her time he had not had it happen again since 5AM. The Dr told her this morning it might take a while to get the right medication and the right dosage. He cannot go home from the hospital until it has been 48 hours without the heart racing. So maybe on Monday or could be a week before he can go home just depends on getting everything working the right way. They are so lucky to have caught this early and prevented any damage to the heart.

Thanks again ladies for all your support and prayers during this tough time. Hard to be a grandma that lives so far away in times like this. If the baby has to stay in the hospital for a week I will probably go back and help with the baby and her almost two year old to give both Dd and her Dh another pair of hand to help get things done.

HI Kaci

Dd was able to go home from the hospital last night while her dh stayed with the baby. Hopefully she was able to get some sleep. Waiting to hear from her in about an hour.

The baby is doing a lot better.

Love ya

Hugs, Mare. How hard it must be to be so far away. I sure hope they get to the bottom of this soon. How draining for your DD. Will keep all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dgs should be able to come home today as long as there were no problems with his heart last night. Haven't talked to Dd yet. She will call later this morning.

Love to all

Hi Doreen

The baby has an electrical problem with his heart that they discovered on Friday during his one month check up. It causes his heart to race at 280 beats per minute.
