Dh is in the hospital, and will be having some tests tomorrow morning. Sorry, this is way too much information, but..........when I got home from my volunteer library shift, this evening, he greeted me with the news that (here's the TMI part) a short while before, he felt like he needed a BM, but when he went, it was all blood. Needless to say, I'm a bit stressed. I took him to the ER, and they've got him drinking "go juice" tonight, and will be doing a colonoscopy tomorrow. If you would, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, that it's not colon cancer! He's never had a colonoscopy, even though he should have. He kept putting it off. I hope he didn't put it off for too long!

Lor, thanks for all the good wishes. I'm sure you could have heard my sigh of relief all the way up there, when the doc stopped in the room to tell me the results! He'll be on some meds for a while, and with some dietary changes, things should be fine.

Grams, thanks for the prayers. Considering what it could have been, colitis is something we can deal with!

Thanks, Gabby! It seems all will be well, just some dietary changes, maybe work on lowering the stress level.

Rain, thanks for the prayers and good vibes! Yes, bleeding can be a scary thing, especially when it appears from places that it shouldn't! Now, to research ulcerative colitis.

I'm also planning my own colonoscopy! This was quite a wake-up call for both of us. No more goofing around with tests the docs recommend.

Jan, so sorry that he had to go to the hospital. But glad that it is not cancer and
that he can take meds for the u.colitis.
Keep us posted. We will keep him in prayer. (posted earlier under your results post)

Hugs,
