Just had to kibbitz a bit on Dutch's thread... had 2 knuckleheads out to walk in the countryside yesterday...it was just gorgeous. When they didn't know I was behind them, I took this shot. Love it! We had such a good time!

ode to your grandsons red....love that pic...min
Two little boys
Sharing Sundays thoughts,
Of wild ducks and lizards
And frogs that mite be caught!
Two little boys
Watching ripples rise,
Wishing for a fish to jump
Neath sundays sunny skies!
Two little boys
Dreaming of the day,
They ll be a captain of a ship
And dragons they will slay!
Two little boys
Those dreams not far away,
Will become those men
remembering Sundays sunny day!!

Oh Mindy! Thank you! Yep, my hope is that when they are men they'll remember Sundays like this...and of course, their awesome Granny! LOL!
Great ode...I'll keep that and see if I can't use that in a frame with the pic. Thank you again!
Red I love that pic... sort of brings me back to when I was
You're
Yes, it gives me a lot of pleasure to take the boys out in nature. I know many kids don't get that opportunity anymore. Hunter lives in a condo, for example, but he asks to go to "Granny Garden" lots of Saturdays when it's nice. On the day this was taken, he and I and his cousin, Dallas, went through the botanical gardens and looked at birds through the binoculars, and looked for ladybugs, etc.
Then we went on a trail that the Boy Scouts have built through the woods behind the gardens. It goes on and on and on...Hunter was leading the way. He did NOT want to turn back. I finally had to scold him at one point, because I think he'd still be out there now. He kept wanting to see what was around the next turn.
I'll take them again maybe this weekend when I will have dressed better for it. I had a sweater on and not good shoes for trails. But so glad I had my camera.
Hugs,
&n
