How to drive your kid crazy:)

In the past two years JT has hit two deer and we've never let him forget it teasing him at every opportunity. In Boscov's my dd handed me a box of cards with three deer on the front. Immediately the insane light went off in my head:) Everyday for the past week I've written a caption over a deer's head and sent it to him. One said...What's silver and drives in circles? JT trying to hit three deer...RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! JT called my dd accusing her of sending them...nope. Then he accused dd#2...nope. Then he said if you two didn't send it who could it be....MOM! I can't wait until he gets the one with my version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reigndeer:) I also set up a RIP memorial to Rudolph on my china closet door.

As if this wasn't enough to drive him nuts I bought every deer ornament Boscov's had...over $100 worth...and will give them to him, individually wrapped, Christmas morning:) Last year I got him a pair of Rudolph boxer shorts complete with antlers LOL! What good is having kids if you can't torment them?:)

Care to share any pranks you've played on your kids?

Hi Bernie

That is way to funny. Actually haven't played a prank on my kids in a very long time probably since they were teens. You are so right though is the best way to have a little fun.

Love ya

yes, it has been a long time since I pulled a prank on one of my kids!

when ds was in HS and just learning to drive, I took him out driving..first time

he got into the drivers seat and I said, wait here a minute

I came back wearing one of our horseback riding helmets, his skateboarding knee and elbow pads and whatever protective gear I could find!

very funny mom!

one Christmas I got them each a t-shirt that said "Mom likes me best"

now you've got me thinking....

Mare you have got to try it even if its photocopying a horrible grade school pic and make an ornament out of it. The laughs are so good for the soul!

Cindy your kids have such a kind mom...no pranks huh? My kids could curl your hair:) Ralph is still in Guam until February then after leave will be stationed in WA. While he could have chosen Virginia Beach, which is close to us, it would mean he'd be assigned to a ship headed to Iraq which he didn't want to do again. His gf (headache) Janet now lives about an hour away and is no longer draining my pocketbook...yeah!

Bern, I don't have your correct email. At chat, I went to the bathroom while you were away, and when I came back, you had left. I tried to email, but it bounced. Just wanted you to know, I wasn't ignoring you. Hugs!

HI Bernie

I didn't say I haven't done it. Just not in a few years. Easier when they lived at home or close by. Ds does live with us but hasn't been a good way to prank him lately biding my time LOL. Have already done the Christmas Ornament thing though it was pretty funny but somehow they didn't think so at the time LOL

Love ya
