Snow, cold and annual tests!!
13
Tue, 01-13-2009 - 1:08pm

Well, yesterday I got 2 tests out of the way: mammo and bone density..one was scheduled at 11am, the other was at 11:45..but I was done with both by 11:25!! amazing!!

met 2 people I know in waiting room..one was there with son,14, broken leg!!

last night I tutored 5-7...the area is very rural, very remote..when I got out it was about 10 degrees..took forever for car (and me ) to warm up!

and Thurs it is supposed to be even colder here..0 or below!

dil said she won't let anyone out that day!

Sat. we got out 2nd snow storm of the week...seems we have to get 2 every week! LOL..it cancelled our dinner plans with friends, but we resheduled for Sun

been a good time to curl up with a book!!

ran into an administrator from my old school, I was relieved to hear they have a number of applications for the 7-8 grade Spanish leave position, I was afraid they would find no one and come knocking at my door! LOL whew!

hope this finds you all well

HI Dutch

Good for you getting those test done.

Sounds like it is very cold your way. Snow and ice sure have been a problem for so many this winter.

Staying in with a good book sounds like a perfect day to me.

Stay warm.

Love ya

well, now that we have a garage it is a lot easier....no cleaning off the cars, no warming up the cars

after 32 yrs w/o a garage it is heaven! LOL

it is 3 degrees this morning

of course I don't spend a lot of time outside...tho I did take a little walk to the lake and back the other day...and my pants got full of snow and I had to change them!

it is a very wintery winter in so many places!!

Sounds like you're having a heat wave this morning. Wait until our weather gets your way. We currently have -13 with a wind chill of -25. It seems like all the schools in this part of the state have closed. They're so afraid of kids freezing while walking to school or waiting for the bus. I pray that we don't have problems with the power. Without heat I'd have to move out and then, what about the pipes, etc.
