It is gorgeous here today, cold but sunny. It snowed about an inch last night but that is pretty much gone, but we still have about 6 to 8 inches of the old snow left in the yard.
Spring will just have to hurry on, I am getting tired of this. Even though it looks so pretty!
Dh goes back to work tomorrow... this is good because his Unemployment insurance ran out and so he had to apply for a new claim which takes forever to get going, so we have not had the cash come in like we need.
My youngest dd was in a play and on Friday we went to her performance. I have to say she was really good in her part, many were not though. She tells me that the teacher is really not suited to do that class, and was relying on the kids to do it all. We did enjoy it anyhow, and was very proud of Brittany as she really was awesome. She was dancing in 3 or 4 inch heels and I was worried she would turn her ankle but she lives in high heels so it was not a big thing to her. You know when I go to these things I struggle not to cry... and I do not mean just my own kids shows but others as well. I just so appreciate when people get up and perform like that.
I am really having a problem with my darn shoulder, the dr said I have to get an injection of cortisone, but after talking to others I dont think I like that idea, sure it helps the pain for a while but doesnt solve the problem. I find now I can not lay in bed for more than a couple hours because no matter which way I lay it throbs. It hurts to rub it even, so I use dh's back massager on it lightly and I am trying to tell myself it is working.
We are having friends over this afternoon... it has been a couple years since we last saw them. I feel bad but this is my Sunday do not cook day, so I guess we will be having soup and salad. I figure I cook all week long so on Sundays that is my day to have a eat what you want day.
I am so excited as we took in all the old Super 8 videos from before I was born to the 70's and are getting them put onto one reel as well as onto a dvd. We took them into a video production place and he is adding our choice of music as well as family photos to them. The dvd's he uses are called Archive dvd's and they are guaranteed to last about 90 years. Not that I will still be here in 90 years but my grands or greatgrands will be. We are also taking in ones from my dhs family to have the same done, and then again of our kids and stuff. The quality of the old films drops so we want to preserve what we do have. We should be able to see the first draft this coming weeekend, then we give our choice of music and let him know what changes we would like to see.
Well better go I need to throw a brush through my hair and slap on some lipstick before my company comes.
Have a wonderful day all!
Hugs,

Hi Lor
Didn't do much yesterday stayed home all day. I did laundry and the guys just messed around doing whatever.
Glad to hear you dh is going back to work. That will make things easier for your family.
Well I know how you hate needles but you will be amazed at how much better your shoulder will feel if you have it done.
Lor, Glad your hubby is going to work...Yea!!
Yup it snowed again today and they are calling for more tonight!
Yup it is good he is back to work... it makes it a bit rough when he is laid off so much, can not seem to get ahead!
Had a bit of a disaster with the company, the son was sick and threw up all over my living room carpet.... not good but oh well what can ya do!
I am not sure I am ready for a shot, I am really that terrified of needles.
