We got a call from oldest son, Mike, from Kuwait. He was just deployed and will be there for 4 months. He sounded like he was here in SA just around the corner. The 4 months will go quickly but I will be a mother till he sets foot on our soil again, lol.
My headache study is almost over and then I keep the stimulator forever. I guess it has been a success since it has calmed down the headaches. I still get them every day but just not as bad. It has been an interesting and frustrating year but I have been paid a couple a hundred dollars for being in it. The palm pilot which I used every night during the year to get the data to them by phone has been a pain, not wanting to work every time, but most of the time it did and I chose to keep that one and not get another.
Bill may be forced to retire as early as May of this year. The company is not doing so good and the label of his product has been sold. If they decide to move the place of production, then he is out of a job. Retirement, here we might be coming.
I am and will be working my 2 days a week for my ds & bil, maybe when Bill retires, I will be sick of being with him (he he he) and add a day. Who knows. As long as my mom is still with us, I will always be doing for and with her. She has slowed down so much and constantly has aches and pains but after all, she is 91 and she never was the kind to exercise to keep her muscles fit. She gets around with a walker and we want to keep it that way for as long as possible, not going to a wheel chair. She is a dear and I love her very much.
After going to Bernie's meet in Philly in this spring, start saving your pennies to come here next April, 2010. We will have a blast. Love to all. Prayers to all who need them. Of course we are all around the same age and that means our bodies aren't as great acting as they used to be, so keep on trucking and get some exercise. Love and

HI Free
So good to see you. I will be keeping your Ds in my prayers and you as well as I can only imagine how hard this next four months will be for you. We have two from your state that have sons over there now. Cannot wait until we hear they are back home safely.
I am so glad you did the headache study. Seems to have really helped you. If the headaches cannot be completely gone having the be less is an improvement for you. I am so glad you did this and will get to keep the stimulator as well as the palm pilot.
So many companies not doing well right now in this economy. I know your Dh didn't want to retire just yet but sometimes we just don't get the choice. You might want to add that third day LOL. Retirement takes some adjustment that is for sure. Living with your spouse 24/7 is not as easy as it sounds. My dh and I still find we make some changes adjusting to the different lifestyle retirement brings.
Sounds like your Mom is doing pretty well and
