Spring has definately sprung here in the southwest. My allergies are proof enough for me. Itchy eyes, sneezing and that constant need to blow my nose. Allergy meds are helping but with just about everything in bloom here there is pollen everywhere. We have not had rain now for a month and a half and we sure could use it might help to was away some of the pollen. However nothing but sunshine for us here and I really cannot complain. The weather here has been just lovely. Warmer temps will be heading our way soon though and the heat of summer bearing down.
Ds is still working at the temp job he got two weeks ago. They told him on Friday he will be needed at least until mid April, maybe it will become a permanent position. We did buy new bedroom furniture and it is just perfect. So the house is done thank heavens.
Our dgs Evan will be coming out to visit us for a week the end of March. Will be so nice to see him again. Dh and I will soon be making plans to go back and see our Dd and her family by the end of April. I have not seen her since I was there last Oct and dh has not seen her since last August when Grayson was born.
Today is laundry day for me and bathroom cleaning today. Both never ending jobs. Better get off here and get started.
Have a good Sunday all and if you haven't posted in a while stop in and let us know what is going on in your part of the world.

Have started my annual flowerkill, my folks are still here ( about 6 wks now)& I'm trying to get back into some kind of normal routine, but it's not happening...
Anyway will try to post another catch up soon - especially if this one goes thru OK.

Mare, I'm remembering why I put up with those awful winters. It's to enjoy lovely spring days like we've been having! Today is supposed to get into the 60's, it's sunny with just a bit of a breeze. It's a perfect day to get out with a trash bag and clean up the winter debris, while enjoying the sight of blooming crocus, tulips popping up and trees starting to bud out.
Dh had his second infusion treatment 2 weeks ago, so we're waiting to see if he continues to improve. He had a bit of trouble over the weekend, but it could be a reaction to one of the meds. We're planing a summer trip, for dh's family reunion, but it depends on how he's doing. If the meds don't work, the only other option is surgery, and we sure don't want that!
Other than that, it's the usual, cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc. Of course, I've been working on my genealogy research, and trying to write the stories of my ancestor's lives. Some are turning out to be very interesting people. I've had to learn about areas of the country and eras of history that I never gave much thought to in the past. It's quite an education.
I'm glad to here your ds is working, and I hope it becomes a permanent position. You'll enjoy having Evan, but he'll sure wear you out!
Have a great day!

HI Jan
I remember those lovely spring days in the midwest when spring would begin to finally come around. It is just the winter cold you have that I could not stand anymore.
I sure hope your dh is feeling better and those treatments will work for him. Surgery would not be pleasant and
What am I doing? Well spring is in the air which I was screaming for but I forgot with the spring comes the sinuses. So I spent alot of the morning and early afternoon with a sinus headache that actually gave me an upset stomach. It's easing up a little now thanks to medication but I missed chat again (slept right through it).
Sorry to hear about your allergies but watching the weather channel
Hi Cindi
I feel for you with the sinus problems. That has been something that is getting to me today is my sinus. Also have had a darn headache all day. Finally getting better but still sitting there on the edge waiting to come back I fear.
No rain in our forcast here Cindi. I think they had a chance of some rain up in the high country of AZ but here we will have sunshine and some pretty warm temps the rest of this week. By high country I mean up in northern AZ in the mountains. Rain this time of year for the desert is not something we see a lot of. We may not see rain again until June when our monsoon season starts.
Hope to see you at chat tomorrow feeling better.
