What a day

This morning my daughter called me and told me my dgs was in the hospital. It seems he went to his fathers yesterday and dear daddy gave him one of his antidepressants. When my dgs  (he's 7) got home last night his hands we're shaking and he was acting really strange so my daughter took him to the emer. room. After blood work was done the doctors found the drug in his system. Of course first they suspected my daughter until my dgs told them his dad had given him a pill to calm him down. He's a bit hyper and but my daughter refuses to give him any drugs because as long as he's kept busy he's fine and he's doing great in school. I guess daddy wanted to watch the race and Justin (my dgs) didn't so daddy gave him a pill.

The hospital kept Justin overnight and my dd brought him home this afternoon. He's fine but she's watching him real close. She was told most of the drug is out of his system but bring him back if there's any problem.

Dear daddy was arrested for child endangerment and many other charges and sits in jail where I hope he rots. He's not allowed anywhere near any children if he gets bail and lost all visitation. My dd has been fighting the courts for years trying to tell them he was a dangerous person. To bad her child had to be harmed before they listened.

OMG Cindy, I'm so glad your DGS is okay. That could have been so much worse! I'm so sorry you all had to go through that. Yes, you are right, that guy is right where he belongs right now and I'm glad he has lost contact rights.

I hope your DGS will not have too many bad memories of this. Poor kid. I feel for him.

Hi Cindi

I am so glad your little dgs is ok and what a terrible thing to have happen to the child just because his Dad wanted to watch a race. Children can be annoying at times but

Wow-how shocking! That poor child and his mother. Thankfully he's okay.
