Aww, (((((Rain)))))...I'm so sorry you've lost your good friend. He's been such a companion to you. Of course you will miss him.
I was listening to a veterinarian on the radio one day who said something so true, and so poignant. He said that the moment we take ownership of a pet, we begin a grief process, because down deep we know we will outlive them. It's so sad but true. And even knowing that, we still want to have pets and love them, because they do give us so much...one thing being someone to express our love to, and another, someone to give it back.
(((Rain))), I'm so sorry to hear about Rat. He was truly a sweetie, and I know he'll be missed. He's still with you, though, he lives on in your heart. Energy can be neither created nor destroyed, mearly transfered. Rat's energy is now the breeze in the trees, the warmth of the sun on your face. He's still with you, but in a different form, May you find comfort in knowing he's no longer having problems or pain.
Something about my companion I haven't shared. He was also a certified service dog. Some years ago I was prescribed a med that resulted in minor seizures. At that time they came one
Rat was a special friend to you and seems a very helpful one as well. You will miss him always. Our Bailey is unable to walk now so probably tomorrow a trip to the vet so she can also cross over the bridge. Today lots of loving care, for tomorrow we will say goodbye.
I just heard and I am so very sorry sweetheart. I know how much he meant to you. It is rough to lose a furry friend, but Rat knew how much he was loved and cared for.
I love you sweetie, you and Rat are in my prayers.
So sorry Rain. I know how much you loved him and will miss him.Our animals are there for us whenever everybody else leaves. They say we train them but I think it's the other way
