Any Plans for Easter?

I am having ALL 3 of my grandboys over Saturday and we have 2 egg hunts to go to. One is here at my workplace....they have crafts and songs and snacks along with the hunt. The other is at DH's workplace...all the residents are hiding the eggs. We had a few laughs about that last night...

"Hmmm....I don't quite remember where I hid those eggs...."

"Little boy...if you find happen to find any teeth when you're out there, bring them here to me!"

LOL!

We are going to color some eggs at the house too. Should be a messy, fun time.

What do you have planned?

Hi Red

Sounds like a great time you will be having with your grandboys. The hunt where you Dh works sounds like it could be very interesting. You will have to let us know how it goes.

No plans at all here for the holiday. Since I don't live close to my grandboys have sent them some Easter goodies for Mom and Dad to give them. We usually have dinner

YES, we did!! have plans that is

my ds and family came, so did dd, also dil's parents

the dgks, 4, 2, 1 had a Easter egg/rubber duck hunt....we hid a total of 83! (ok we are still finding some LOL)

I made one of those bunny cakes, using 2 round cakes, cutting one for ears and bowtie..they loved it

We had ham, sweet cornbread, baked apples, asparagus sauteed in oil and sesame seeds....and more!

It was a chilly day so we stayed inside

The older dgd was off yesterday so we had her over, we will give the other dgd her own day..mom was happy to separate them after a week of "togetherness" LOL

sounds like you had a good time

The egg hunts went really well; I think this is probably Dallas' last one. He's going to be 8 in June! He just looks a bit big to be doing it anymore, but he still enjoys it. I can't believe how fast he's growing.

The hunt at the retirement community was so fun. All the residents were at their windows looking out at the kids. They had big smiles on their faces. Frank said they were still talking about it at dinner. So they'll be doing that again next yr. This was their first one!

Now me? By the end of the day, Granny was exhausted! LOL!

Plans for me included multiple worship services in the morning, but then had dinner out with the family, hunted Easter eggs and played with dgd.
