I feel like I've been so busy lately.  Dh and I both had our birthdays the past couple of weeks. We took a short trip this past weekend, just a little getaway, which was needed by both of us.  I have been adjusting to a new diabetes medicine, Januvia... hopefully this is THE one for me.  Our weather is finally getting Spring-like, so tomorrow I will plant my garden...well with the help of dh and ds, afterall it is Mother's Day...LOL!  IN fact we are on our way in a few minutes to buy vegi plants.  Today we sold our Chevy Astro, 1987...so many memories with that Van...family times... it still looks really good too.... kind of sad really.  I want to wish you all a VERY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! HUGS!

Welcome back and I'll pray the drug works for your diabetis too. Such a horrible disease.

Yes I'm in the NE to and it's starting to warm up but I hope it does it soon. Want to get my garden in but worried about frost. Had some this morning with low of 30 so I'm waiting a bit.

Sounds like you had a nice mothers day. Glad you enjoyed it and Happy belated Birthday.

Hi Gabby

You have been busy girl I sure hop the drugs do the job for you this time. Have to keep changing to find the right one is such a pain sometimes.

A veggie garden huh. Well a lot of work but the results of having home grown veggies will be worth it. Sad sometimes to see a family car go. Yes so many memories but you carry those memories with you.

Hope you had a good Mother's Day!!

Love ya

Your welcome and I hope your garden grows beautifully for you with little weeds. I want to do watermelons too. One of my favorites. Also tomatos and peppers. I may try a few potatos this year to see if I can. Never done them before. If it works out I will probably grow alot more next year. I just love baked potato's.

I'm glad you got your garden in. It's still a bit too early, here, to put in tender plants like tomatoes, peppers, etc. The last few nights, some areas had frost, so here, it's best to wait until closer to the end of May.

With all the rain we've been having, the weeds are going wild, so getting rid of them will be a lot of work.

If I could only have one food, I would pick potatoes!
