I could not wait to see what the doctor had to say about my dad so this morning I was up at 5 and headed down to see my dad at the hospital. He was put into a room sometime through the night, he does not know when, cant remember being in emerg even.
His blood pressure is coming up his dehydration is not so bad, they are loading him up through an IV. He is not totally coherant but he knows who we are at least.
I guess my siblings were feeling the same way as I was because 4 of us 6 kids and our spouses were at the hospital today, and one brother and his wife were coming after dinner as they had to work. The last brother lives a day away and was unable to get off work to make the trip.
Anyhow I was at the hospital all day, and we saw plenty of nurses but not one doctor came in, I left when he got his dinner, so am hoping that a doctor came in on night rounds. we got home just a bit ago so too late to call the hospital and see wht they say.
They did tell us he is not out of danger yet, but at lest there is some improvement.
He was determined he was going to get his clothes and catch a cab home, but my sil was smart and took his clothes home and washed them, she said he was making beefs about being in there she figured if he had nothing to wear he would nt leave. So far she is right he didnt leave.
He is not impressed as he chews snuff and the nurse wont let him have any because she said what if he spits on the floor and someone slips.. so I went and got him some scotch mints and nuts to eat when he felt he was missing the chew. I also got him some socks as he felt naked he said... which he pretty much was other than his gown that did not close up as only had the top tie.
He has a catheter in and there is a lot of blood in his urine, but the nurse said when they put it in they caused some damage and so there is the reason for the blood. He tends to bleed quite easily as they found out because the one IV got knocked out of his arm and when they went to put it in he sprayed blood everywhere.
I am so fragmented in my thoughts right now as well as exhausted, so will finish this off. Any spare prayers you may have I would sure appreciate them!
Tomorrow I have new computers at work being installed and I really must be there for that, as well as my one and only casual had knee replacement surgery today so I have no one to take over if I need to be away. I did pack an over night case so if things turned for the worse, but luckily did not have to stay.
Anyhow will be at chat tomorrow unless there is some changes.
Thanks again you all... I Love you more than you will ever know!
Hugs,
