Getting ready for a road trip! One catch! Its our summer children's choir tour with a bunch of 10-12 year olds!! Its just Monday -Wednesday night, but even that is pretty major when it is with kids!! We sing mostly in retirement centers. 4 concerts in three days. Also some sightseeing including Ferndale Museum (think dinosaurs!) in Atlanta and time at Six Flags. We run them till they are tired! Last year we had such a good time and the kids were so well behaved. They loved the concerts, the sightseeing fun and the hotel!! I hope it is the same this year.
We've added a new twist to this tour. We end our trip by singing the National Anthem at the Smokies ballgame. Minor league team, but a big deal to our children. They are not used to performing in front of 4000 people!!
