Hello Ladies! I was just wondering if it is too early to test? First off I am totally surprised that I am late...I have been on the pill (yasmin), so needless to say I am somewhat caught off guard. I am five days late, I usually start the day or two days after the last set of "regular" pills. I have put off testing since Friday, why you may ask we a couple of reasons 1) I am afraid I may test too early, 2) I dont really know why b/c even though DH and I are not TTC at this time it would definately be a bad thing, we have been talking about trying but thought we would wait untill next year, oh well there may be other plans, right. Also I know that I did forget and yes I honestly forgot to take two of my pills this last cycle, it was hectic month we have decided to sale our home, been showing it, found a new home and getting things started there, my mom has had to go to the hospital for some routine tests, my husbands grandmother pasted away so as you can see pretty hectic couple of weeks, yet not really stressful b/c everything going smoothly (okay not smoothly that DH gm passed away she was almost 90)just things happening kind of all at once or in line. Also put off testing b/c thought it could be a stress factor w/ everything going on but like I said I have not been stressed, I am excited about the impending move...So anyway went to the preg board and started reading a few things and I am wondering more about the possiblity of being preggers...my breasts and nipples are soooo tender and sensitve and have been for the last two to three weeks (which is kind of unusal b/c usually just a little tender before period), then I have been consitpated, then about two maybe three weekends ago I spotted just a little bit and I am wondering if it could have been implation bleeding (just read about it today) and I have been going to the bathroom to urinate somewhat more than normal, I can not say if feeling nausea in the mornings b/c I ? Yes, this would be my first preg. I have not even mentioned it to my DH yet. I would kinda like to know before I tell him, b/c I know he will be so very excited and for that matter I am too, it is not as if this is a bad thing b/c we were going to have a child it may be just sooner than we expected...is it too soon...

Seeing as you are 5 days late, you would probably be pretty safe (and accurate) testing now. Did you recently change bcp? that can cause you to skip a month.

no, I have not changed my bcp, I have been on the Yasmin for either one and a half years or two and a half years...back a couple of years ago they switched my pills like 5 times that year, but it has been several years since that and what a pain and mood swings galour that was, so I have taking the same ones for a while now...I guess I need to pickup a home preggers test on the way home from work and give it a try

thank you, um, like you I am and will be somewhat shocked (and of course thrilled since it will be my first pregancy and since were were going to start our family, just next year) but if you only forgot 1 pill, I forgot two then three more towards the end of the cycle...i guess i will be surprised if it happens so very soon also...so your preg went well and no complications even thought you still took your bcp?
