Hello:

I have a huge problem. I went to the emergency room on June 28th of this year. I was diagnosed with an incisional hernia. So..they told me not to lift my children, and take it easy. (I have two boys..ages 3yrs and 9 months) So, to make matters worse..I do not have insurance..which means I had to go to the free clinic, and have the hernia looked at, so I could be referred to a surgeon. So, i did that..and on August the 6th..I went to the suregeon's office, so he could check my hernia... You ready for this? The dr. said that I do not have a hernia, and what it looks like to him would be:Endometriosis..Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Uterine Fibroid, or I am pregnant.. He thinks I am pregnant! The dr. has ordered me to take a home pregnancy test..and on Tuesday I have to have a full gynecological visit checking for everything..including an ultrasound! So here is the deal..(if you are still with me) The hernia or whatever it is..is a large mass in my lower right abdomen..it is very tender..but it doesn't cause me pain all day or anything. The other problem is this..if the dr thinks I am pregnant..then how come I got my period on the 5th of August???? Could this be a pregnancy? Has anyone had any dr. tell them this stuff before?? Or has anyone had a lower abdominal mass that is kind of tender to the touch?? The period I had was different from my normal ones.. Very light pink..sometimes going a bit darker with a bad cramping episode that would last about ten-twenty minutes...If anyone has ideas or can help me I would love to hear from you!!!!!

Please help!

It could be ectopic... I would take a hpt now and see if it's positive. Sounds more like a fibroid to me. good luck
