i'm losing my mind, thinking about this!

I am only about 2 days late, right now, and i took a test yesterday, that was negative... i usually have cramping and some pink discharge, a day or 2 before starting my period, but i'm having no period signs AT ALL!!! (i am, however, starting to notice some breast tenderness, i'm dizzy, and a bit nauseous when i dont eat ever 2 hours (do not usually eat that often!), and i'm beginning to notice some fatigue~
OK! so my question is... i tested yesterday... how long should i wait to test again? what are the other possible reasons for being late, with the symptoms i have?
i'm just trying to ease my mind; we do not want a baby again this soon, if we can help it! (if i am pregnant, we will be happy, but were hoping to have a little space between this one, and the next~)
and next day...
well, the other day, i tested in the afternoon, and the line that is ALWAYS pink was really really faint~ and, it was neg..
this morning, i tested again, and the always-pink line was VERY pink, and the other side was empty- so, neg. again... i'm never this late!! still feeling no period symptoms, and getting concerned~
could it be that i AM pregnant, but too early to tell? (like, i ovulated late, this cycle?)
oh, and, another question, while i'm here- is a sensitive cervix a sign of ovulation? (i certainly had a VERY sensitive cervix, about a week ago, so, if that's possible.. i would NOT be far enough along to tell, through HPT)
thanks, anyone who can help!!!

Do you know when you O'd? In most cases, being 2 days late and testing neg. on hpt would probably mean you're not pg. If you O late, then this could be the reason for your AF not showing up on time. AF usually shows about 14-16 days after O occurs.
Also with Oing late, it may not show up on a hpt if you were pg. I would wait a few more days, then test again, making sure to use FMU since it contains the highest amounts of hcg. If you can't use FMU, then try to do it when you have waited at least 3 hours since the previous bathroom visit. This will help build up the hormone in you system.
Hope you get the answer you're looking for. Good luck,
