Yet another question on CM

I've heard over and over, when you are ovulating, your cm looks like an uncooked egg white, which means clear right? So why is mine white, is the egg cooking there or what?
Anyone have a better understanding of this than me?

While EWCM is the most fertile kind of CM, creamy can be fertile too... creamy CM is often white, and can be of a lotiony texture. In a lot of women, the creamy CM will take place for a few days before the EWCM.
I know, this is all confusing. Do you have the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler? It has an amazing color photo section in the middle of the book, with photos of how the different CM textures look on your fingers. The book certainly helped me clear up a lot of questions.
Good luck to you!

Actually, I think it's supposed to be milky or white up until you ovulate and then turn clear. But I've heard not everyone's the same.
Still laughing.
I'm glad I made ya laugh. There has to be some humor is this crazy cycle we are all on. Month after month...bla bla bla. It makes us all a little crazy at times, but it's all worth it. :) I'll be looking for the uncooked portion of the egg!!!
