AF late, HPT "-", i am going INSANE!

Well, some of you may remember me from other posts. It's been a hell of a week! AF is officially late as of today so I am keeping my fingers crossed although the HPT I took Sunday morning showed "-". Somehow I just feel like I am pregnant though, so it is very frustrating. My last period was August 10th, probably ovulated around the 24th (feel a pinch on ovary when it happens) and AF was due yesterday (Sept. 7th)/(28 day cycle like clock work every month). It is just confusing how a HPT would show negative since I have never been late since I first got my period when I was 15 years old (I am 30, so that should give you a pretty good hint on how sure I am). Also, all symptons point to pregnancy since they do not feel like PMS or AF coming (hope you guys know what I mean) they are similar but different somehow.

I guess I'll try to wait until further in the week if AF still hasn't shown to test again. Until then, I will hang around the board. Makes me feel better knowing so many of us are going threw the same thing especially this being my first.

Best wishes to all.

I will keep you guys posted!

I don't know what to tell you other than to wait a few more days. I am in the EXACT same boat as you, extremely regular 28 day cycles (haven't been late in OVER a year). I am now 4 days late and got a negative test on the 6th. That has never happened before with any of my other pregnancies, I got a BFP right on the day of my missed period. So I'm thinking my cycles are changing on me. They do that every so often! This very well could be happening to you right now. I have no pg symptoms that are UNLIKE PMS, if that makes sense. I O'd on the 22nd, and the only time I could have gotten pregnant would have been on the 24, and that was 2 days after I O'd, so Im thinking it didn't happen. Anyway, I hope I helped in someway. I *may* retest if AF doesn't show in a few days. Best of luck to you!!!!

It may just be too early to test. I would wait a few days and try it again!

Thanks for your reply.

Now, although you ovulated on the 22th, even if it could only have happened on the 24th, you can still very well be pregnant.

In my case, ovulation occured around the 24th and we TTC on the 23th and 25th...so, who knows...

Lots of luck to you.

I am in the exact same boat you are in, right down to the same dates. I was expecting AF all weekend and all I have gotten are cramps for 3 days. I took a HPT and it came back negative. It is driving me nuts because the only time I have ever been late is when I was pregant with my first child. I am trying to just forget about it and go on with the days, but it is so hard with the cramping and the hoping! I know they say that stress can cause a delay but it never has before. Hopefully we will both know something soon! Good Luck!

Well, for me, it would be my 1st, so, not only do I have NOTHING to base anything on, it feels probably even worst anxiety wise.

Let's keep each other up to date, if you let me, I can add you to my friend's list.

Thanks again for your reply.

Can I add you to my friends list, too? I have never done this before, it is nice to know that there are other people in the same position I am in. I have already had one child, but that was ten years ago (I am 31, now) so I can't even remember what symptoms I had with her. With her, we were not trying so I don't even know how long after my missed AF that I tested. Now all I have is cramping, heartburn, sore bbs, a negative HPT and no AF! Talk to you soon! Good luck! I added you to my friends list, so yes, you may do the same. It is cool we are going threw the same thing and plus, we are close in age (I will turn 31 in a few months).

I have the same symptoms as you, no AF yet, will test later this week if I don't go insane first!

Good luck sweetie.
