Hi everyone,

Could someone take a look at my chart and tell me what you think is going on? I don't think I O'ed this cycle. Last month my cycle was 34 days and the two before that were about 42 days(didn't chart them) Have had lots of CM for over a week, some yellow, some clear. Also some cramps on and off... Also took a HPT this morning it was neg. it was one of those ones from www.freepregnancytests.com, don't know how accurate they are.

I feel really sad today :( I guess I just want someone to tell me it'll be ok, and I'll be fine and really mean it. DH doesn't understand, and everyone else says you'll be fine, you're young, and healthy. I just want to cry. Sorry for the sob fest...I just know that you guys are great and have helped before.

My other question is how long to wait for AF before going to the doc? I feel really anxious b/c 5 close friends are PG, and a girl that sits beside me at work, so that seems to be all I hear about!!! It's hard to get away from it. But thanks in advance for the help......

Hi, Suzy! Hon, it doesn't look like you've been O'ing. How long have you been ttc? You weren't on the Pill by any chance, were you? The reason I'm asking is that I was, too, and I had the same problem afterwards, except that my cycles weren't anything close to yours...they ranged anywhere from 36-91 days! Unfortunately, this is a very common side effect of the Pill that doctors don't seem to like to inform their patients of. Don't let this scare you, because your cycles seem to be much closer in length than mine were, but I went off the Pill August 3, 2002, and just had my first O on August 6, 2003. It can take awhile for your body to return to normal, but DON'T do like they recommend and wait a year before seeing your doc. Mine said they may have been able to help me along sooner if I'd come in earlier and we could've avoided the long wait! Luckily, I think I'm going to continue to O now....it will happen, it just may take a wait or some meds to do it! Also, you may have heard this before, but the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility is VERY helpful. It explains a lot of things, and will help once you do begin to O. It also discusses options for correcting some of these problems. My doctor said that not ovulating is actually one of the easiest things to treat, so don't be scared!! We're all here to support you! I'm sorry if I scared you at all, but I also wanted to be able to give you info you may need. Looks like if your cycles are already at least somewhat regular, you'll start to o soon.

God bless,

Aubrey;)

Thank you so much!! It really helps to know I am not alone! My cousin had the same prob(not Oing) and she was diagnosed w/ PCOS, but she is now PG. I was on BCP's for 3 1/2 years, went off at the end of March. I asked my doc about it once, he said to see him if my cycles last more than 8 weeks, I guess I will end up like that since I haven't Oed yet.

Maybe tonight I will try to find TCYOF at Chapters.

Thank you!!

I was just thinking, I had a UTI on August 9th, and was antibiotics for 5 days, would that make a difference in my temps or Oing?

Thanks again!

So weird...I was also on the Pill for 3.5 years! never again.

I don't think that the antibiotics could affect your temps, but a UTI could. Make sure to check your cm too. That's just as important, if not more so, than your temps. If you do finally O, your temps won't show you that until after the fact, and then it's too late! Of course, until your body adjusts to not being on the Pill anymore, you may find that you're always a)really dry or b)always seem to have fertile cm.

FYI...another thing I found out about the Pill~~it also CAUSES uti's! I suffered with them constantly, even though I chugged tons of water each day, and they stopped when I got off the Pill!!! A hex on the evil Pill!!!!!!!!!!! Aubrey;)

Ps. if you have any questions, or want to talk to someone who understands your exact situation, feel free to email me: samandhoney@yahoo.com.
