Hi again everyone,
I've got some new s/s to add to the already ginormous list that I'm experiencing.
Starting today (the 3rd day of my very light spotting), I've been having muscle/joint aches all over my body. They tend to come and go and radiate/fluctuate in intensity. In particular, they have been in my arms, elbows, shoulders, knees, and my stomach.
Since yesterday (day 2 of my very light spotting - possible implantation anyone???), my breasts have gone from being very tender and sore to more of a muscle ache feeling (almost like what happens when you work out and your muscles get sore).
I've been nauseaus, especially after eating and I've had the appetite of a rhinocerous! When I don't eat right away after I get the hunger pangs, I start getting these really dull headaches.
Has anyone else out there experienced these weird s/s? I've never had these feelings before AF ever and I don't remember having them when I was pregnant with #1 5 years ago.

Hey Heidi, I'm sure it's not this, but have you looked into an ectopic pregnancy? I was just reading that shoulder pain can be an early symptom. It can't hurt to let your doctor know about your new symptoms.
I hope that's not what it is, but I JUST read about them yesterday, so that symptom sort of stuck out in my head. Here's a little bit from the acticle I found:
Ectopic pregnancy can be difficult to diagnose because symptoms often mirror those of a normal early pregnancy. These can include missed periods, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, or frequent urination.
Pain is usually the first red flag. You might feel pain in your pelvis, abdomen, or, in extreme cases, even your shoulder or neck (if blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy builds up and irritates certain nerves). Most women describe the pain as sharp and stabbing. It may concentrate on one side of the pelvis, and it may come and go or vary in intensity.
Any of the following additional symptoms can suggest an ectopic pregnancy:

No, this isn't a stabbing or sharp pain. This is a dull ache all throughout my body, but mostly in my arms, breasts, and abdominal areas. It feels similar to a muscle ache, like what you feel like after you work out. My breasts went from being EXTREMELY swolen and tender to a dull "muscle" ache feeling overnight. I don't know what it means because I've never had this feeling in them before - not even when I was pregnant with my daughter.
Maybe I'm just coming down with the flu or a cold. It's been going around a lot here at work and my daughter's just getting well from a cold. I feel fine though (not counting the preggy s/s) and have been drinking orange juice like it's going out of style! lol AF is due tomorrow and I have this dreaded feeling she will be rearing her ugly head.
I have a feeling that the Clearblue Easy POAS tests I took (and came out to be what I thought was positive) were faulty tests. I think that because (1.) I think it was too early to test and I still got very very thin faint lines and (2.) I read on another board that someone else had the same problem and it turned out to be a faulty test.
I retested last night with a FRED and it came up negative. As pure as the driven snow! :( I haven't had a lot of luck with the First Response tests anyways, and if I ovulated late then there's a good chance it wouldn't detect anyway. I just think it isn't going to happen for me this month.
I have one more test left, a Clearblue Digital that I'm going to save for a week after AF is due. I'll be testing on 12/30 if she doesn't come. That way I'm not wasting a test! I'm also going to take all of your advice and hit the dollar store for some cheapo tests. Watch, I go to the dollar store and take one of those tests and I get my BFP after spending $50 on tests over the past week!!! LOL That would be my luck!
cl-rshepherd, didn't you get a POSITIVE yesterday?!?!??!?! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! Hope you have a very happy and healthy 9 months!!!
Oh ok, phew! I really doubted that an ectopic was what it was, but had to just share the info!
