Is it possible?

Okay, here's the deal. I've been off the pill since Jan 2006. Since July 06 my period has always come on the 1st of the month... until like November. In November it came on the 1st and again on the 27th. This month it has not come at all yet but I'm just waiting. No cramping, no tender or sore breats, no nausea, not really any change in sleep habits. BUT... this morning I took a pregnancy test that I happened to have stored and un-opened and it came out POSITIVE! I'm trying to remain calm and not get too worked up, if I am I'm ELATED! But I guess the no symptoms thing has got me wiggin' out.

Is it possible to be pregnant with absolutely NO SYMPTOMS? I figure I will wait about another week and see what happens, obviously if it still hasn't started then I will contact my doctor. Is it possible I should re-test, is it common to not have any physical symptoms?

Thanks

Hi there let me start by saying congratulations, and well it can be possible with my first daughter I had no symptoms at all. The only reason I found out was because my DH and I where trying to get pregnant so I was testing like every month.

Statistics show that false negatives are way more common than false positives. Start taking prenatal vitamins. if the test says your pregnant than your pregnant. congrats, I hope are in order.

congrats! You are certainly pregnant. A false positive is unlikely. Get elated you are having a beautiful baby.

I would say that you are! False + are quite rare, they almost never happen. Congrats!!

Siggy by Sherri :) Thanks!
