Pg w/ no big temp rise? Unlikely I know

Well, I haven't been here in a long time! I spent lots of time on this board before my 1st pg. My ds is now 17mo and we're trying again. Hope that someone might have some advice for me. I don't know whether to test or go to an OB. Or just wait it out I guess.
My cycle has been really crazy lately. I'll try to give you a quick overview... Unfortunately my temp taking habits are not ideal. Such is life with a toddler. I will also mention that I thought maybe my thermometer was acting up. So I bought another and it's confirmed that my regular therm is fine.

Cycle started 10/27 with multiple patches of ewcm as late as day 32. Some temp rise but fertility friend never detected ovulation. AF came on day 36.
Next cycle began 12/1 with high pre-O temps. FF detected O on day 21. Temp rose for 2 days and then fell steadily from O day until spotting at 7dpo. AF or something like it came 8dpo. I've never had a luteal phase that short. They're usually 11 days. AF was different than usual. Was heavy to very light off and on for 2 days, then was light for 2 days, and then spotting for another two days. Not my norm. Rocky temps, wet and ewcm, and lfc cervix since then. Also lots of other symptoms (Some could be a cold coming on). I've had mood swings (happened this time last cycle too), tender breasts (almost feels like bf letdown), backache (earliest symptom last pg), nausea combined with increased appetite off and on, and extreme fatigue.
So here are my questions...
1. Is there any chance I could be pg even though my temps have been all over the map?
2. Could it be a luteal phase deficiency?
3. Maybe two anovulatory cycles?
4. Could I have had a miscarriage? It seems unlikely that a miscarraige would cause bleeding so soon after O.
5. What do I do next? I hate to waste the money and emotions to test, but I'm tempted even though I know it is HIGHLY unlikely. Or should I go see an OB next week? I recently moved to a new state. So I'd have to find a new one.
So there's my story. Thanks for taking the time to read ladies! I'd appreciate any information you might have.
Beth

Well, I think you should because I think you are not going to let it go until then.
