feeling stupid right now

The last couple of months I have been feeling really run down and tired. I have had some symptoms that could be attributed to being preg or to being sick with a virus. I have also had AF but it has been different that it was before. So far the tests say negative, but a few people I know say they had neg tests and were preg anyway or knew people who had neg tests and were still preg. I have a friend who is says he is 100% certain I am and if I am not then there is something seriously wrong. The thing is this wouldn't be my first child, I have a 10 and 5 year old. I didn't have AF with them but I never thought I was preg until someone told me they thought I was and the test came out pos fairly quick with my first, but my second child it took well over 10 min for it to be positive. I have had a pelvic and abdominal exam, not to check for preg, but the doc never said anything about me being preg, then again with my son I had my yearly exam and was preg and the doc never picked up on it either. I am having a mix of symptoms that I had with my first two. I keep tellling myself my tubes are tied and I can't get preg, but once again I have friends telling me they know people who still got preg after having their tubes tied. I have a couple of friends who are telling me I am having a hysterical pregnancy because there is no way I can get preg because my tubes are tied. I am still waiting for my insurance to kick in so I can find out once and for all, but in the mean time I am trying not to worry about it, but that is hard to do. I work in the public and it is now getting to the point where my customers are asking me if I am feeling ok because I look tired all the time. All I want to do is sleep and that started about 3 months ago.

Anyone have any input or suggestions? I am going to take another test in a week or so. Right now I am coming of AF and this one was far from normal.

Hello,

The only thing I could suggest is too keep testing. I personally think its VERY unlikely that you are pregnant. You could have a hormonal problem instead or a virus.

Women being pregnant without ever having a positive test sounds more like a myth or at the most extremely, extremely rare.
