What's up with me?

Alrighty - I'll just start at the beginning...
I just had a beautiful baby boy in October and I am still nursing - so I don't know when AF is supposed to show up... So there is no way to know if I'm missing a month. We aren't preventing, it would be great if we got pregnant again, so now that that is out of the way I'll get to the question.
4 weeks ago, exactly, I had a quarter sized amount of brownish discharge in my undies, none on the tp, and nothing after that. I figured I was getting ready to start, so I've been waiting... no cramps, no bloating, no period. Now I'm starting to wonder if that was the rare phenomenon of implantation bleeding. I took a test the morning that happened - before if happened - and it was negative. I told myself I wasn't taking anothe test until I was constipated, had killer heartburn and couldn't fit into my jeans anymore... well, I've got the first two now, but I wonder how much of that could be just in my head. Did this happen to anyone else, should I take ANOTHER test? I feel like a crazy person!
