Give it two to three days and test again.

If you go to www.peeonastick.com, you can compare the various tests for HcG levels (sensitivity) as well as probability of false positives.

My personal preference is the First Response test.

I last tested with a Target brand and I had a VERY faint positive line (I was almost 2 weeks late) I was preg but I miscarried the next day, the Dr said I didn't have enough HCG shooting out to tell my body I was prego and AF came along. I went to the peeonastick.com and compared and all with it and even used another brand. But your numbers should double about every 48hrs so keep testing! You are early and remember you're never out until the hag shows her face :) Good luck!

I actually used the Target version of the EPT and also had a very faint line. It was blue though it wasn't "a shadow." I was giddy and began telling my family. Being concerned about the faintness I have retested several times and they've all been negative. I've tried several different kinds and still nothing 5 days later. I hope that yours is pos but I just wanted to let you know my experience with what I'm guessing was a "false pos" with the same test. I am 2 days late and tested 5 days ago which would have been around 15 dpo. I guess my advice would be to test again in 2 days and see whatcha get! Good Luck!
